Gregg E. Niswonger 1957-2024
GIRARD — Gregg Eric Niswonger, 67, passed away on Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
He was born July 26, 1957, in Youngstown, a son of the late Roland D. Niswonger and the late Roberta E. “Mitzi” Reed Niswonger.
Gregg graduated from Mathews High School, Class of 1975. He worked as a carpenter and contractor at his business, Niswonger Construction.
He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting and being outdoors.
He is survived by his sister, Darcy (“Tony”) Vega of North Port, Florida; nephew, Michael Vega; niece, Michelle Vega; great-nephews and great-niece, Tyler, Chase and Grace, as well as his beloved furry companion, Bandit.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Reed J. Niswonger.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services at this time.
Carl W. Hall Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements for cremation.
