GRAND OPENING: The Niles Park and Recreation Department will host a grand opening 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Stevens Park off Crandon Avenue for the new disc golf course. There will be a free disc for children. The event will include an opening ceremony with city officials, youth and new player clinic, putting contest and vendors.

6th WARD GIFT CARDS: The Warren City Health District will host a drive-thru Gift Card Giveaway for 6th Ward residents only, at noon until supplies last on Saturday at Grace AME Church, 1137 West Main St. SW, Warren. TREE LIGHTING: Lordstown village will host a tree lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday at the park next to the fire station off Salt Springs Road. Santa Claus will arrive to visit with children at the fire department.
