Local Walmart slated for renovations

Walmart announced plans Wednesday that it will remodel 650 stores nationwide, including 23 in Ohio.
Walmart’s Boardman / Poland store, located at 1300 Doral Drive, is scheduled for renovation, the company said in a news release.
“By investing in our stores and associates, we are not only improving the shopping experience but also reinforcing our commitment to being a vital part of the community’s fabric, helping to build a brighter future for all,” said Glenda Fleming Willis, Walmart senior vice president for its North Business Unit.
Among the items and areas to be remodeled include signage, displays, departments, screening rooms and checkout areas.
