First Fridays goes to Wick Avenue Historic District

Youngstown First Fridays moves from downtown to the Wick Avenue Historic District for its October edition.

Attractions will include an outdoor fall market 4 to 7:30 p.m. in the parking log of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, an art opening by Lindsay DeLullo and a performance by Ballet Western Reserve at St. John’s Episcopal Church and a reception for “Legacy: 58 Years of YSU Art” at the McDonough Museum of Art from 5 to 8 p.m.

The McDonough also will have live music by AIMLIS from 6 to 8 p.m., and Alabi will perform at Noble Creature Wild Ales & Lagers starting at 8 p.m.

Food and beverages will be available from Noble Creature, MVR and Yosteria.

OH WOW! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology will offer half-price admission 4 to 8 p.m., and recreational activities will be provided by Youngstown State University Rec.
