GARRETTSVILLE - Gregory C. Danku, 55, of Garrettsville, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at home after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born Jan. 13, 1957, at St. Joseph Hospital, Warren, the son of Louis P. and Helen E. Gill Danku.
He was employed with the Ohio Turnpike Commission for more than 30 years, recently retiring as trades division supervisor.

Besides his mother, Greg is survived by his wife, Patricia Pritchard Danku; a son, Louis Danku; and his sisters, Sharon Miller of Leesburg, Fla., Shirley Danku of Hudson and Suzanne Broz of Spring, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry; sister, Sandy; and father, Lou.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, with the rosary being prayed at 6:45 p.m., at Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Garrettsville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Garrettsville.
Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Garrettsville.
