Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Evans of Zephyrhills, Fla., will be celebrating their 65th anniversary on Aug. 24, 2012.
Elwood and the former Marie Gordon were married Aug. 24, 1947.
The couple have three children, Sandra Williams of Fowler, Diana (Daryl) Zadunajsky of Bristolville and James Evans of Zephyrhills, Fla. They also have four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Evans retired 28 years ago after 30 years in the school system as a custodian. They are very active in their church and Mrs. Evans in Project Others.
