BOARDMAN - More than 100 job seekers turned out Monday for a job fair
Staff Right Services staffing agency and Macy's were on hand at the Mahoning County One Stop accepting applications. Staff Right is hiring for a number of positions in the shale oil and gas industry, and Macy's is hiring for positions in its warehouse in North Jackson, according to Tribune news partner WYTV 33.
The temporary and temporary-to-hire positions pay $8 to $14 an hour. Organizers said they are seeing an increase in job openings throughout the area.
"Our business service team does really well. We have sometimes two or three recruitments a week just with the different staffing agencies or companies that come in," Carol Ramsay-Loomis of Mahoning County One Stop told WYTV.
