CORTLAND - Petre M. Paun, 87, of Cortland, died at 9:50 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center.
He was born Feb. 26, 1925, in Trestenieu, Romania, the son of Tudor and Stana Paun.
Petre came to Cortland in 1999 from Romania and was a supervisor for Electronic Factory in Romania.

He is survived by his daughter, Lucia (Alex) Munteanu, with whom he made his home; a grandson and a great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ecaterina Serban Paun.
A private service will be held Tuesday afternoon at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel in Warren.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warren.
