Max H. Linker 1946-2012

LEAVITTSBURG - Max H. Linker of Leavittsburg, entered into rest at 1:23 a.m., on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the Trumbull Memorial Health Care Center in Warren following a brief illness. He was 66.

Max was born the son of the late John and Viola (Hinshaw) Linker on June 24, 1946, in Yakima, Wash., and had resided in Trumbull County since 1972, moving here from Washington.

He was employed with the General Motors Corp. as a welder for 28 years, retiring from his duties in 2003.

Max had faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam conflict, having served two tours.

On Feb. 3, 1972, Max was united into marriage with the former Donna K. Nolan and had shared 40 years together.

His memories will be remembered by those he leaves behind: his wife, Donna K. Linker; son, Wayne A. Linker of Leavittsburg; daughters, Rhonda (Dace Long) Nolan of Champion and Amy (Michael) Ferrett of Hubbard; sisters, Marilyn Miller of Yakima, Patricia Folk of Yakima and Vicky Dollicker of Kelso, Wash.; and three grandchildren, Jill Nolan, Jared Nolan and Joseph Ferrett.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

Funeral Services will be at 3 p.m.Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home in Warren, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. David Robert Black.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road N.E., Warren 44483.
