SOUTHINGTON - Olive S. Dixon, 86, died at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren.
She was born Nov. 10, 1925, in Pingree, N.D., the daughter of the late John and Alma Hopland Een.
Mrs. Dixon was a homemaker and a member of the Delightful Evangelical Congregational Church in Southington, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid Society. She was also a member of the Southington Garden Club.

Survivors include four children, John Dixon, Virginia Dixon, Susan Dixon and Lori Dixon, all of Southington.
Other than her parents, Olive was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Dixon, on Jan. 17, 1992. They were united in marriage on April 5, 1953. Also deceased are two siblings, Clarence Een and Agnes Hogan.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Green Robertson Funeral Home, 600 Riverview Drive, Sutton, W.Va. 26601, where family and friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Burial will be in the Johnson Family Cemetery, Braxton County, W.Va.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Ladies Aid Society at the Delightful Evangelical Congregational Church, Southington.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
