DEAR EDITOR:
The RG closing does not only affect the workers in that plant. There is the trickle-down effect.
I know all our guys belong to the steel workers' union but please remember the other mills involved. My husband works for Harsco. It is the mill behind the warren RGI. Their plant is also at a skeleton crew and many are laid off.
We are all depending on the sale or revision of RG and all the steel workers' families need people's prayers. The Mahoning Valley needs to become the steel capital we used to be. Come on Congress, Governor. Help us. Save our jobs.
