CORTLAND - Alex Eugene Doyle, 53, died Tuesday, June 19, 2012, in St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
He was born Nov. 14, 1958, in Mount Clemons, Mich., a son of Solomon Ronald and Everjean Yarbrough Doyle. He was a forklift driver for General Motors in Lordstown, where he had worked for 34 years.
He belonged to Bible Land Church Of God In Christ.

Survivors include his mother; his stepmother, Joyce Doyle of Detroit; his wife, Marilynn Ann Washington Doyle; two sons, Alex E. Doyle Jr. and Carlos Poellnitz, both of Youngstown; four daughters, Rochelle Washington and Latricia Byther, both of Youngstown, Nakita Henry of Romulus, Mich. and Allyse Eunia Doyle of Cortland; five brothers, Lynn Rogan of Port Huron, Mich., Maurice Doyle of Clinton Township, Mich., Solomon Eric Doyle, Charlie McCombs and Michael McCombs, all of Detroit; four sisters, Dollinda Pitts, Patricia Gambriel and Ruth Jean Doyle of Detroit and Denise Doyle of Clinton Township; and 21 grandchildren.
His father preceded him in death.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Bible Land Church Of God In Christ. Friends may call an hour prior to services at the funeral home.
