WARREN - Earl Lewis Waters, 86, 3426 Dunstan Drive N.W., died at 6:35 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital from complications of emphysema.
He was born Jan. 1, 1926, in Warren, the son of Cleveland Waters.
Mr. Waters retired from Thomas Strip Steel Corp. and was a member of Christ Our King Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and received numerous medals.

Survivors include a son, Earl C. Waters of Warren; a daughter, Shirley Mallory of Youngstown; two stepdaughters, Donna Warren and Karen Freeman, both of Warren; and a host of grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date, to be announced.
Arrangements are being handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
