St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Boardman was the setting at 2 p.m. on July 9, 2011, for the summer wedding ceremony of Gregory Alan Kenyon Jr. and Melissa Ann Laufman. The Revs. Peter Haenftling and Bob Shonholzi officiated at the afternoon ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Daniel Laufman of Canfield. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Kenyon of Girard.
A reception was held following the ceremony at The Lake Club in Poland.

Lindsay Merrifield and Pam Hutchinson shared the duties of maid of honor for the bride, while Jamye Jones served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Rivello, Bernadette Farina, Amy Kenyon, sister-in-law of the bride, and Katie Petrilla, cousin of the groom. Isabella Farina served as flower girl.
Performing the duties of best man for the groom were Corey and Greg Ramsey and Kevin Kenyon, brother of the bride. Groomsmen were Andy Okonek and brothers of the bride, Jason Laufman, Justin Laufman and Bradley Laufman. Wyatt Sckruck served as ring bearer.
A teacher with MYCAP's Head Start program, the new Mrs. Kenyon received two degrees from Youngstown State University, one in communications and the other in early childhood education.
Mr. Kenyon graduated with a culinary arts degree from Pittsburgh Culinary Institute. He is employed as a roofer with Local 71.
Following a honeymoon to Naples, Fla., and the Eastern Caribbean, the couple resides in Howland.
