LEAVITTSBURG - Naomi Ruth Hollins, 72, died at 2:10 a.m. Monday, May 28, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center with her family by her side following a long illness.
She was born May 11, 1940, the daughter of Stonewall and Hila Propst, who preceded her in death.
Naomi married John J. Hollins on June 27, 1955, and was married for 57 years.
She worked for Imperial Skilled Nursing Home in dietary for years until she became extremely ill. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, crochet and spending time with her children and grandchildren and family.
The family says she was loved by all and will be missed by all.
Naomi had a sister and five brothers; three of those brothers preceded her in death.
Survivors include four sons, John M. Sr., Thomas, Douglas and Justin; a daughter, Vanessa Wilson, all of Ohio; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
One great-grandchild has preceded her in death.
There will be no service for Naomi and cremation has taken place. Arrangements were entrusted to Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
"She wanted MaryJean Wilson, her granddaughter, to know that even though she hadn't gotten her wish of seeing her again, that she always and will always be with her."
