CHAMPION ALUMNI SOCIAL EVENT: The Champion Alumni Association will hold a social time at 7 p.m. Nov. 11 at the Champion Lanes Bowling Alley - Longboyz, 200 Cleveland Ave., Warren.
Inductees for the Nov. 12 Combined Achievement / Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony / Banquet, who will be in town on Friday, are invited to attend with their families. Any Champion alum or resident is invited to attend for an evening of socializing with friends in the newly remodeled Longboyz. The owner has even created a sandwich in honor of the Champion Alumni Association that will be available that evening.
If anyone desires tickets for the Champion Achievement/Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Banquet, which will be held at Enzo's Restaurant at 2918 Elm Road, can purchase tickets from several locations. Tickets are available for $35 for adults 13 years and older, $20 for children 4 to 12 years and free for children 3 years and younger.

MINERAL RIDGE ALUMNI BUS TRIP: The Mineral Ridge Alumni Association Banquet Committee is sponsoring a bus trip to the Rivers Casino, Pittsburgh, on Nov. 16.
The cost is $25 per person with bonuses of $15 for slots and $ for food. Car parking for the day and bus pick-up will be at the First Presbyterian Church, 3654 state Route 46, Mineral Ridge. The bus will leave at 9:15 a.m. and return between 6 and 6:30 p.m. Anyone interested should be at the pick-up site by 9 a.m.
The cost must be paid in order to secure a reservation and checks are payable to the Mineral Ridge Alumni Association, P.O. Box 191 Mineral Ridge, Ohio 44440.
