Julie Ann Hoopes and Kristopher James Walsh were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held July 3, 2011, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Youngstown.
A reception was held following the ceremony at Avalon Golf and Country Club, Buhl Park.
The bride is the daughter of Brian and Susan Hoopes of Cortland. Parents of the groom are Joseph and Ruth Walsh of Plain City.

The new Mrs. Walsh is a 2003 graduate of Lakeview High School. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a BSBA in logistics management and is employed by Shell Oil.
The groom graduated from The Ohio State University with a BSBA in finance and works at Mercuria Energy Group.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and resides in Houston.
