Katherine J. Notis and James W. Fowley were married during a lakeside ceremony held June 26, 2010, at Six Mile Chalet on Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska. The officiant was Brian Fay.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the chalet.
The bride is the daughter of Diana Notis of Billings, Mont., and Andrew Notis of Republic, Wash. The parents of the groom are John and Suzanne Fowley of Warren.

Sarah Boyd attended her sister as maid of honor; bridesmaids were Ari Robinson and Jill Fowley, sister of the groom. Kenny Boyd, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.
Performing the duties of best man for the groom was Christopher Clark; groomsmen were Mark Kafantaris and Keith Boyd. Capts. Matt Davis and Sean McGarvey served as ushers.
The new Mrs. Fowley is a graduate of Republic High School in Republic, Wash., and the University of Montana at Billings. She has been employed as a mathematics teacher at Mirror Lake Middle School in Anchorage.
Mr. Fowley graduated from Warren G. Harding High School and Ohio Northern University in Ada. He is a captain in the U.S. Air Force and is being reassigned from Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage to Tyndall AFB in Panama City, Fla.
After a honeymoon driving from Anchorage to Florida, the couple will reside in Southport, Fla.
