| | Though winning, not a good day at YSUSeptember 15, 2012 - Dana SulonenThis is not the same YSU team that beat Pitt two weeks ago. It can't be. These Penguins are flat. The defense is falling over its feet. Kurt Hess doesn't look like the poised quarterback he has come to be known to be. Yet somehow, the Penguins are winning at the end of the third quarter. YSU got lucky on its only scoring drive. Kurt Hess was in the process of getting sacked, and made an attempt to throw the ball, though it looked from the press box he was just trying anything to get rid of it. The officials called it a forward pass and incomplete. It could have just as easily been called a fumble, which Albany would have recovered and returned 30 yards to set up great field position. But somehow, the Penguins get the call their way and end up with three points. The defense better come to play in the fourth quarter, especially the linebackers and secondary. This Albany team is having its way on offense. End of third quarter, 24-21 Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | |
